Santo Domingo. – The Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD) announced that the company of Venezuelan capital, “Intensa del Caribe”, is making an important investment in the country.
The company presented its credentials to the Dominican market and is looking to introduce its sweet, creamy and nutritious drink “Creamy”, made from rice, powdered milk, and sugar.
CEI-RD’s director, Luis Henry Molina, upon welcoming the Venezuelan investors, thanked Mr. Oscar Guillarte, company country director, for trusting the Dominican Republic as an investment destination.
Molina stated that “from the CEI-RD, we have given our total support to the new investors from Intensa del Caribe Company, by providing access to pertinent information and necessary procedures for the acquisition of permits and licenses required for the execution their project.
In addition he noted, that “Intensa del Caribe”, became interested in the country, due to the Current Government’s openness towards new investments, emphasizing that the Dominican Republic is among the leading economies with sustained growth in the region.
For his part, Oscar Guillarte, very grateful for all of the support which the CEI-RD has given him from the beginning, highlighted that the product will be manufactured with local raw materials, which translates to benefits for national producers, and will also establish a franchise system as an investment alternative for the Dominican Republic, which will create dozens of direct and indirect jobs, and which will later be extended to other countries in the Caribbean.
The Venezuelan executive said that Dominican consumers will be able to find their product in supermarkets and shopping centers, as of January 2017.
The information was offered at an official tasting of the new Venezuelan product Creamy, which took place in the lobby at the institutional offices.
