It will begin with the US target market
Santo Domingo.- The Center for Export and Investment of the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD) announced that starting this Thursday, February 25 will begin the training sessions “How to Export”, the first devoted to the target market of the United United.
This is the second version of the series of free lectures that the institution developed from November 2014 to December 2015, with the aim of establishing a viable platform for exporters and potential Dominican vendors strengthen their capacities, so that enabling them to optimize and enhance national export supply to the international market.
Seeks to consolidate achievements from first cycle
It will be provided for free in the auditorium of the CEI-RD, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, and this time, seeks to consolidate the achievements of the first edition, with emphasis on the importance economic export for national development, said the Executive director of CEI-RD, Jean A. Rodriguez.
He stressed that the CEI-RD has the plan in 2016 to further strengthening the Dominican export culture in line with the ongoing work of President Danilo Medina for the benefit of the sectors with export and service potential, and diversification of our exports.
“The CEI-RD, in addition to its commitment to promoting and increasing our participation and benefits in the globalization process, is responsible for training and accompany exporters or potential exporters on the way to get their products and services abroad, and hence we strive to develop the nation an export culture,” Rodriguez said.
“It is about everyone being involved, trained and export, knowing that the government of President Danilo Medina is here to assist, so we urge all exporters and potential exporters of the country, to participate in the training program” How to Export”, which opens this Thursday, February 25,” said finally the head of the CEI-RD.
How to Export?
Similar to the first cycle will consist of 12 free lectures divided by markets and goals. According to the curriculum, vital aspects of the export process such as procedures and logistics for export, promotion of quality systems and production chain as well as national and international best practices, preventive measures will be shared among other topics of similar importance.
How to Export to the United States?
In this case, the working agenda is proposed to provide attendees with the tools necessary to market products to the North American country, such as transportation and freight logistics, participation in fairs, customs procedures, regulations, permits, among others.
The training will be headed by the Executive Director of CEI-RD and will feature appearances by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Directorate General of Customs and other technicians linked to the CEI-RD.
